Fried Chicken with Green Onion Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 pc chicken thigh boneless and skinless
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp ginger grated
- 1 tbsp garlic grated
- potato starch enough to coat chicken
- 1/2 cup oil
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sake
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 1 tsp garlic grated
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions chopped
Instructions
- In a ziplock bag, combine the chicken, sake, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix well. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the sauce ingredients, microwave for 30 seconds, and set aside in a medium bowl.
- Drain extra marinate mix. In a bowl, coat chicken with potato starch.
- Heat the oil to 340˚F (170˚C). Fry the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked on both sides, for about 5-7 minutes.
- Cut chicken, place on a plate, pour the sauce.
