Guinness Glaze

This sauce goes well with burger, salmon, shrimp, chicken, and chicken wings. I make this glaze, put into a jar, and keep it in the fridge! Follow my TikTok (kuritomo) and Instagram (kuritomo_cooking). Thanks!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili pepper
  • 1 bottle guinness 12oz
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey

Instructions
 

  • In a large pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sautee onion once the oil is hot.
  • Add salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and red chili pepper.
  • Add Guinness, and simmer, and add brown sugar and honey, and simmer.
  • In a small bowl, add potato starch and 2 tbsp water, and mix well.
  • Add potato starch water to the pan, simmer and stir for about 15 minutes until thickened. Let it cool, and put it into a jar.

Notes

I make this glaze, put into a jar, and keep it in the fridge. I can use it for chicken, chicken wings, burgers, and steak! This recipe makes about 1 cup of glaze. Follow my Instagram (kuritomo_cooking) and TikTok (@Kuritomo).
