Sweet Spicy Chicken

Ingredients
  

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Gochujang
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs chicken thigh
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • salt
  • pepper
  • potato starch enough to coat
  • sesame

Instructions
 

  • Mix the sauce ingredients, and set aside.
  • Cut chicken into bite-size, season with salt, pepper, and sake. Coat chicken with potato starch.
  • Add oil in a large skillet, heat over medium heat. Place chicken, then cover with a lid. Cook chicken for 4 minutes, then flips over, cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Remove extra oil with a paper towel. Add sauce mixture to chicken in the skillet, and make the sauce bubble.
  • Serve to plate, and sprinkle sesame.
