Gochujang Chicken

Sweet, spicy, and perfectly sticky — this Gochujang Chicken is an easy air-fryer favorite with bold Korean-inspired flavor. Brushing the sauce in two stages gives you that glossy, caramelized coating without burning.

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs chicken thighs boneless & skinless

For the Marinade

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

For the Sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp honey

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Add chicken and marinate for 20–30 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, gochujang, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey until smooth.
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange chicken in the basket and brush with half of the sauce.
  • Air fry for 16–20 minutes, flipping halfway. After flipping, brush with the remaining sauce.
  • Cook until the chicken is caramelized and cooked through. Let rest briefly before serving.
